Waqas Haque is the Vice-Chair of the IMANA Students and Residents Committee. He is a fourth-year medical student at University of Texas Southwestern Medical School. Prior to medical school, Haque studied in the business school at Cambridge University in England, and earned a Masters of Public Health at Johns Hopkins during a gap year in medical school. He has aspirations to apply his passion for innovation and entrepreneurship in healthcare reform. In his free time, Haque enjoys reading anything non-fiction, Islamic studies, and coffeeshops.
